DOUBLE POINTS FOR BSB AT BRANDS HATCH
Competitors in the British Superbike Championship
will compete for double points at the final round in Brands Hatch on 1
October.
Heavy rain forced the abandonment of last weekend's two races at Mondello Park in Ireland.
Organisers have opted not to rerun the races. Instead,
each of the two races at Brands Hatch in October will carry double
championship points.
The British Supersport Championship race will be also be moved to Kent.
Spain's Gregorio Lavilla currently leads the British
Superbike standings by 61 points from Airwaves Ducati team-mate Leon
Haslam.
